Miguel Milá Simplicity is the key to the elegance of the designs by Miguel Milá, one of our country's pioneers in the design field. His solid career displays a conception of design based on the respect of the use value of the object and the person who must use it. This exhibition brings together 30 exemplary designs and offers the chance to appreciate the quality and modernity of Miguel Milá's designs. Miguel Milá was born in Barcelona in 1931. Since he founded his design studio in 1961, his work has focused primarily on interior decoration, design of exhibitions, and furniture and lighting design. He has played a significant role in teaching and disseminating design, both at home and abroad. His designs have earned him numerous awards and distinctions, most notably the Golden Delta award, the National Design Prize (first edition) and the Cross of St. George.
